A great pick-me-up for dieters, Bai5 serves up a gentle 35 mg caffeine plus 200 g of antioxidant-rich white tea. A study published in the journal Nutrition and Metabolism showed that white tea may be especially powerful at targeting fat cells, with the ability to simultaneously boost lipolysis (the breakdown of fat) and block adipogenesis (the formation of fat cells) due to high levels of fat-fighting compounds called catechins, belly-fat crusaders that blast adipose tissue by revving the metabolism, increasing the release of fat from fat cells. The folks at Bai tell us their most popular flavors are coconut, blueberry and mango & pomegranate.

Each tea has its own special benefit, but just the act of drinking tea can be good for you, too: when you’re on a diet, you want to ensure that you definitely get those eight cups of water per day. Caffeine-free teas —or more properly teasans (infusions made from plants other than camellia sinensis), can create a feeling of fullness and help you keep your diet on track. Don’t make your healthy drink harmful, though. "To further promote weight loss, try to avoid using heavy creamers or whole milk and refined sugars," Dr. Verma explains. 4. Dry fasting. Dry fasting is better to use in the first days of the entrance to the usual fasting. The best option to spend the first two or three days without water, and then drink water in sufficient quantity focusing on well-being. Dry fasting for longer periods without the proper experience is dangerous. Especially not recommended for dry days in the mid-normal fasting as well as to fully own biosynthesis during fasting, water is needed. On the contrary, in the first days of fasting when the organism switches to internal nutrition, due to the active dissolution of fat formed a sufficient number of its own water, as there was enough surplus water in the tissues of the organism dry and hungry at this time is easily tolerated and leads to more rapid reductions in weight.
Humans were never subject to constant and abundant food supply in the history preceding the agricultural revolution around 80 years ago. Before this, there were intermittent forces of nature causing food to become scarce for periods of time. The people who survived these eras passed on their advantageous genes. During periods of fasting, the brain actually releases more human growth hormone (HGH) which helps preserve lean muscle mass in men and women (8). A study done in 1992 on 9 men showed that HGH production rate increases 5-fold after a 2 day fast (9). So fasting can essentially cause increased fat loss while preserving your muscle mass. It’s for this reason that many athletes are now adopting fasting into their training routines (10).
